We asked our team what R U OK? Day means to them, and the answer was clear: caring for one another has always been at the heart of our culture.

This R U OK? Day, let’s yarn with our mob, sit together, and create space for honest conversations. Sometimes a simple, “Ya right or what?” is all it takes to help someone feel heard and supported. You don’t need to be an expert — just listen. Be there for each other, as our Elders have always taught us. Stay connected to your community and check in regularly. Together, we can keep our communities strong.

National Child Protection Week

This week reminds us that every child has the right to grow up safe, connected, and strong. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, that also means being supported in culture, identity, and community.
